I am a coach, educator, dancer, wife and mom of three. As a group fitness instructor, dance coach and exercise enthusiast I am often asked about how I approach nutrition for dancers and other active people. The truth is, it took me years of trying every type of cardio, weight lifting and money spent on personal trainers to realize that I needed to put my focus towards nutrition to see growth and change. After going through all of the fad diets I ended up more confused than when I started. I found an awesome nutrition coach (well, actually there have been two of them over the years) who changed the way I approach my diet and I have never looked back. I feel stronger and more in control of my fitness goals than ever before. The habits that I have created are here to stay and I feel excited to share what I learned along the way! I am a certified nutrition coach through the Precision Nutrition Level 1 Certification. I am passionate about working with others to help them meet their fitness and health goals.
I believe that nutrition is one of the cornerstones to building a healthy lifestyle and feeling well. This goes far beyond just the food we eat which means creating habits that are sustainable and focused on moving you towards your goals. To me, nutrition coaching means giving you the guidelines to develop a nutritional plan that works for your lifestyle, exercise goals, and allows you to enjoy the foods you love. My job is to empower you to make healthy choices that are going to last much longer than any fad diet or weight loss program. I believe that there is no such thing as “bad” foods or cheat days. We can create a lifestyle that brings nutrition in as one of the cornerstones that promotes a healthy well-being.

First, set up a free consultation to discuss your health and wellness goals. We will talk through where you have been, where you are today and where you want to go. This is a one-on-one approach that requires honesty from both of us.
Next, we will set goals that are realistic and measurable. We will work together to strategize what small changes you can make daily to move towards your bigger goals. We will discuss ways to track your progress and how I will hold you accountable.
Then, you do the work! I am here to support you and give you ideas on how to navigate pitfalls or tricky situations… that Friday happy hour that turns into a weekend of mindless eating.
After that, we will have weekly check-ins to monitor progress and make adjustments as needed.
